Grants
The Ripon Education Foundation provides funding for the following on-going programs: Jennie Long elementary student tutoring program; mini-grants for teaching and learning initiatives; Ripon Reads community coalition; Ripon High School reunion coordinator; elementary Art Presenter program. Since its inception, the Foundation has funded:
● 78 Innovative Grants totaling more than $63,000
● 38 program grants totaling more than $333,000 to Ripon Area School District
The Ripon Education Foundation Grants Committee reviews grant requests for their potential to make a positive difference for students and the extent in which they address:
● Student Learning
● Innovation
● Relevance to the goals and initiatives of the Ripon Area School District
● Need for funding that is not provided in the RASD budget
● Feasibility
● RASD Authorization
The Foundation Board reviews and approves grants recommended by the Grants Committee.
